Aurélien was super gentil - merci! Fabulous experience - clean rooms and very good service. Location was fabulous. We paid more for a view and it was worth it with the sacre cœur out there. I will. Definitely come back. Merci beaucoup. J’adore Paris

The room (536) was good. The doona was way to warm and we took it out and only used the cover. Sheets were changed every day. Breakfast was great, quite large, lots of choices. Good, young staff at Reception. We really liked this hotel. It is very central, close to Moulin Rouge. Would definitely stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel at noon after being up for 24 hours and traveling on an over night flight. We understood that check in was not at noon but we were told that because we were "a group" that for us, check in would be 4pm. Not everyone in our group had arrived and were not going to arrive all at once. We were never going to check in "as a group". However, we were told to wait in their little lobby until 4pm or that we could go out sight seeing until then. We were tired from not having slept and we needed to wash up and change clothes. At 3pm we asked if any rooms were ready and we were told that even if they were, check in was at 4pm for us. When we finally got to the room, we found it to be very basic, comparable to a Motel 6. The next morning, the included breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30am, however they were not prepared. There was no activity in the dining area and the lights were off until 6:30. The food was not put out and they were scrambling to get things prepared. There was one person in particular at the front desk check-in area who was very rude and claimed not to speak English, although we did hear him speaking English to some one else. I don't like to give a rating of 2 but a rating of 3 would be "average", which this hotel is not.

A modestly-priced, well-appointed hotel ideally siuated in the Montmartre district, with the Mouiin Rouge a few minutes walk away. With major bus routes and the Metro all available at the nearby Place de Clichy, travelling around Paris is easy. The hotel staff were always happy to assist and the hotel had a pleasant buzz at all times. [One warning: beware pickpockets on the Metro. Witnessed a gang of 3 in operation. As the train stopped at station, one "dropped" a hearing aid on the carriage floor and scrambled on hands and knees to "find" it. In the distraction another jostled a passenger while the other stole his wallet. All 3 then exited the carriage and ran off as the doors closed].
